We are going to start a new Vet Science Club. We will be meeting once a month, on the third Wednesday and learning about all different topics relating to Vet Science.

CowSignals Certified Trainer Course 

Tuesday, September 25, 2018 – Friday, September 28, 2018

People can be educated as Certified CowSignals Master trainer after a 4 day training program. It has 50% focus on CowSignals: know the basic needs of the cow, learn to recognize early disease signals and understand the concepts of health, management, housing, feed and economics. The other 50% focuses on PeopleSignals: how do you motivate farmers to change. It teaches you to become a good facilitator. You learn to ask the right questions and show good examples.

Qualifications

Vets, feed advisors, breed advisors, herd managers, hoof trimmers and barn designers. Background knowledge of dairy farming, health, feeding, breeding or housing is welcome, but more important is that you are open minded, cow-minded and have an interest in communicating and working with people.
